The official name of the set is 轨道空降猎兵：龙息老兵, which roughly means "Space Marine Hunter: Dragon's Breath Veteran". As far as I know, "dragon breath" is the name of the shotgun in Warhammer 40k, so the whole name of the set is completely related to that universe, just doesn't mention it anywhere :) Yes, Sluban being totally legit brand (which you can buy in ordinary shops in Europe) still likes to mess with licences ;)
Set number B1326, 267 pcs. Ordered in AE Super Block Store for 7.88 EUR (with coins). Later it become a bit cheaper, but I'm afraid it now can be in "Choice" category, and after minimum for Choice was raised from 10 to 15 EUR, it can be tricky to get a good deal.
As you can see from my pictures, the set was manufactured in August, 2024 (second time I get this sticker). There are 3 more sets, I'd like to buy the one with the iconic sword, but I didn't like the red helmet. The one with the warhammer looks cool, too.
This is quite small set, but it still took me 2 hours and 10 minutes to build. There were some special parts to cut out, also stickers were too many for this set, IMO.
Brick quality: usual Sluban bricks with some additional moulded pieces I.e. - it's near top quality with perfect clutch but a bit more rough edges. I'd say it's usual 8/10, but all the blue pieces were surprisingly good, lego-like. Not sure why this colour has better quality. On the other hand, moulded pieces were tricker to cut out than usual with some visible marks. So I can't quite neither give it more nor less, 8/10.
On a side note, this is my first Sluban set with their minifig included. And I actually liked it, especially with all the armour and weapons :) The prints, of course, are VERY basic, except for the face, face is quite good, but then again - this set doesn't want you to use the head with a face :D
Design: new Sluban set - new building techniques!They can't stop delivering :) The shoulder parts like to fall off, but other than that the whole construction is very stable. It can easily stand on one foot (see pictures), so the (very basic) included stand is just for display purpose. I applaud the overall design - you instantly know this is a Space Marine. Legs, backpack, shoulders - it has it all! 10/10.
Stickers/prints: I of course hate stickers and as I mentioned there were too many for such a small set. Also, some were more difficult to peel off from the sheet. But I can't deny how cool some of them are with all these Warhammer vibes - Purge with fire! Devil hunt! Sooo cool. 8/10.
Instructions: perfectly clear, good quality paper, usual Sluban manual. And this time - very nice promo pictures, too. 10/10. There were 6 numbered bags, however, the manual doesn't have any steps, so you have to open them all at once. This is not a problem for such a small set.
To conclude, 36/40, I highly recommend!
